UN: South Sudan's leaders accountable

Chief of the highest levels of the United Nations bite to refugees, Filippo Grandi, has called on the leaders of South Sudan completed the suffering of their people.

Mr. Grandi grew up speaking to journalists after meeting with refugees from Southern Sudan living in camps in western Uganda.

UN agencies estimate that more than 80,000 people have arrived in Uganda since the emergence of the recent fighting in the country.

He said: "The leaders of the fledgling nation should be held accountable."
